What you need to be able to hire from us

To hire any plant machinery from us, you will need:

• Driving Licence
• 2 Address Proofs
• A Credit or Debit Card
• Insurance (Available from us if needed)
• Deposit

 

Your responsibilities

When our plant machinery is in your care, it is your responsibility to ensure:

• All machinery is fully insured
• Daily pre start checks must be carried out this should include Daily greasing of entire machine. ( Visible damage, track tension, leaking fluids, When cold all the relevant oils,
• Oil / Water and Fuel levels are checked and maintained at a good working level
• All machinery will be sent out with a full tank of fuel, and should be returned the same
• Keys are to be looked after, replacement charges applicable
• Machinery is returned to us in a clean state, cleaning charges applicable
• Operator safety while the machinery is in your care, no responsibility will be taken for in-experience or misuse
• Any items missing from plant upon return will be charged for, this includes damage to breaker points

Period of hire

Standard Hire Periods available are:

Daily - 1 day which is 9am till 4pm
Weekend - Friday 3pm to Monday 8am
Weekly - 7 days or (40 Hours)

Additional days will be charged at the following rate, 1 day = 50% of weekly hire, 2 days = 75% of weekly hire, 3 days and there after will be charged at a full weekly rate

Delivery

We can arrange delivery of machinery to your chosen address, there will be a charge for this, which will be confirmed when agreeing to hire from us.
Our equipment can not be collected from us.

Insurance

All plant needs to be insured. This can be on your own insurance, or we can offer the use of our policy.
Should you wish to use our insurance, a waiver will be applied, at the rate of 10% of the flat rate hire cost or a minimum fee of £50.

Hire example with our insurance:
Hire Cost: £500

Insurance (10% of hire): £50

Total Cost: £550
